Original paintings
Anne's wish is that the pictures should open up a personal, emotional experience for the viewer. That they should bring peace, strength, hope and wonder. The pictures should also be decorative and beautiful and add a personal touch to the room in which they hang.

Inspiration
Several of the images are inspired by poetic texts. In some of the images, you can see the text shining through the layers.
"Let yourself be silently drawn
by the stronger pull
of what you really love"
-Rumi
Technique
The paintings are built up gradually, using tape to create layers, graphic-embossed elements and exciting details. The images are characterized by a combination of loose, random, often ornament-embossed patterns, and tight control in the form of defined contours.
The paintings are painted on canvas, with acrylic paint, ink and charcoal.
